WELCOME WEDNESDAYS
St. John's Lutheran Church is welcome to all and a safe place for all.
On Wednesdays we meet at 3:30 for what we call Welcome Wednesdays. Why? Personally, by the middle of the week I am tired, frustrated, lonely, sad, and the list goes on. We gather together to be empowered by hope, fellowship, and forgiveness for ourselves and others. We also gather to share our worries, both spoken and unspoken. We share our loneliness and our pain, spoken and unspoken. And to be healed of our past and present wounds by someone higher than ourselves with loving hands that we cannot see but feel will hold us and wipe our tears. We gather for companionship as we journey into life.
